Alive in LA

Hi all-

I've left some of you hanging- I reported via text that I was in my airline seat (after a wild morning!) and then I dropped off the face of the earth!

I'm here, at the Colburn School in downtown LA.  I slept on a twin bed in a dorm last night with two flat sheets and dried off this morning with a towel that was about 24 inches long.  BUT, I'm here, I'm safe, I'm happy, and I'm singing with my pianist in 6 minutes!  Japanese hotpot last night, yum yum, and masterclass with the incomparable Margo Garrett.  A great start....
