On Sunday I arose early and attended the Lutheran Church in Marshfield, WI with Nancy. Her trio sang at church, and they did a wonderful job. It was nice to meet some of her friends, including Bea who is in her 90s and wearing a vibrant red short suit and cute tennies to church! Went to the farmer's market and got some tomatoes and cucumbers, and headed back to the ranch. Nancy's son was recently engaged! So, she headed to Madison with her awesome Mom, Janet, for the engagement party. I was left alone on the ranch! So, I took a nap, read some Prejean, and washed and detailed my car. Yep! I didn't know how, and I do not recall ever washing a car by hand before, but there you have it! Washed it, dried it, shined the wheels, Armor Alled the interior surfaces, leaned and conditioned the leather seats, and Shop Vac'd it! The Sonata looks great! Now I know how to do it, I could have done better with the bugs on the front, but oh well.
Then, I made guacamole and worked through some different music for my recital on Nancy's Steinway. Got most of it solidified I think, though I think the program is too long and I can make some cuts. When Nancy got back, I looked at wedding pictures and went to bed earlyish.
Lots accomplished today!
You made guac? Wow!! You'll be a regular chef by the end of this summer! :)

DeleteYes, I did. I've also made eggs and sun tea. For now, that's the limit.
